Quiet Magic.
You are so welcome here.
There is a particular kind of quiet that lives in the Fens.
Not silence exactly ~ more like the land holding its breath.
Close to the new moons in
Taurus ~ 17th May
&
Cancer ~ 12th July
We gather in Ely, and then walk the Cawdle Fen way ~ ten kilometres of open sky, grass underfoot, birds threading the reeds.
There is no performance required of you. Only your body, moving through landscape that has been here long before any of us, and will be here long after.
When we return, there will be food. Simple, vegetarian, made with care.
And as the evening settles in, we will gather for Salt Circle ~ warm water, salted foot baths, candlelight.
A folk tale for the new moon.
What’s included
2pm ~ Welcome drinks & cake ~ Jess’ home, central Ely.
2:30pm ~ A guided 10km walk through Cawdle Fen ~ led by Jess
6pm ~ A simple vegetarian meal ~ back in Jess’ garden.
7pm ~ A full Salt Circle meditation evening with salt foot soak and folk tale
Dates ~ Sundays ~ 17th May, and again on 12th July 2026
Time - 2pm - 8pm
Investment ~ £75
Places ~ 8 women (keeping the circle small)
This is a new offering ~ unhurried, small, close to the ground.
It will not be rushed, and it will not be repeated in quite this way again.
Sundays 17th May,
&
12th July 2026
I’ve spent fifteen years working as a reflexologist,
and over that time I’ve come to trust that the body holds so much ~
stress, grief, joy, and a deep longing for rest.
These circles grew out of the evening rituals I hold at my coastal retreats ~
salt water, candlelight, and the quiet that forms when women are given permission to slow down.
I wanted to bring that feeling closer to home.
To make it something you can return to.
A quiet anchor in the rhythm of the year.
“The reflexology, the folklore stories, the evening salt circles - all of it was intentional, thoughtful and infused with her signature warmth. Such magic.”
What to expect;
Arrive & settle | Remove your shoes, find your chair, meet the group with an intentional opening circle.
Opening breath | A simple moment together to mark the threshold. We leave the noise of normal life at the door.
Moon Musing | Jess shares the energy and themes of the current moon phase: what it’s illuminating, what it’s asking, what it offers. A chance to reflect on where you are in your own cycle and season.
If you’d like to share your birth date, time and place when you book, Jess will weave a personal thread from your chart into the walk - something to carry through the landscape with you. Entirely optional, the day is full without it.
Guided Walk | Having done some simple foot stretching, we leave together, walking first into central Ely…and then out to Cawdle Fen along the river. Taking our time to immerse into this long trodden landscape, we’ll see which birds, deer & other Fenland wildlife might like to be spotted.
Home-cooked Meal | A simple shared meal together when we arrive back at Jess’ home.
Salt Circle | Warm salt foot baths, guided breath, Folk Tale story bringing together stories from the Fen.
Quiet reflection | Time to sit with what has landed. A gentle prompt to hold privately - nothing needs to be spoken aloud.
Stillness & salt | Your feet continue to soak as the space softens. You’ll be guided through a simple self-reflexology practice using magnesium butter on your own hands or feet - a quiet, nourishing moment of self-tending. Soft music. Space to simply be.
Closing | A breath together, and a gentle close to mark the end of our time. The evening finishes as intentionally as it begins.
What’s included
| Tea/Coffee & cake on arrival
| Guided walk
| Astrological musings
| Vegetarian meal
| Warm salt foot bath
| Towels provided
| Magnesium butter - self-reflexology practice
| Lunar reflections woven into folk tale meditation
Please bring your own water bottle & ‘pocket snacks’ for the walk.
There is a world running parallel to your ordinary one. Not better. Not an escape. Just ~ lit differently. And you are allowed to visit. Four times a year, Jess takes a small group away on retreat. Salt Circles every night before bed. You can read more on the retreat pages here;
