The North Devon coastal paths, merry with their summer ferns and flowers, will guide us up and down dramatic rocky bays, overlooking the inky blue Atlantic.
It’s the perfect setting for our joyful Midsummer Adventure…
We will stay in welcoming farmhouse accommodation, just a small group of 8 (female only) guests and over four sun-soaked days in June, we’ll explore this stunning stretch of coastline, with spontaneous swims and cliff top picnics.
There will be the opportunity for daily sea swims/walks; multi-terrain wanders (barefoot on beaches), exploring sensory paths to ‘wake up’ the foot, and create space in the mind and body.
Ask questions, and immerse yourself in nature, awakening your body from the ground up through the feet.
And, of course, you will each receive your own 60 minute experiential Reflexology session with Jess, tucked away, in the comfort of your own room, while on retreat.
Travel to the retreat house - either by car (free parking) or train (to Barnstaple).
Salt dips and exploring the coastal paths…

Wild coastline and hidden coves
We’ll venture beyond the main routes to discover hidden coves, and quiet stretches of shoreline.
This part of Devon is beautifully rugged, and the paths here tend to be short but steep, with clifftop climbs rewarded by stunning views and secluded beaches below. A comfortable level of fitness will help you enjoy these adventures fully, although we’ll always move at a pace that feels right for the group.
These walks aren’t about covering distance, they are about noticing the small details, the sea campion clinging to cliff edges, the changing of the light on the water, the feeling of the salt air filling your lungs.
Each day offers a chance to pause, breathe, and take it all in while embracing the wild character of this special coastline.
